I cannot really say that i agree or disagree with this thesis. I am still unsure myself on what to do about the affordable healthcare act and i look forward to hearing your persuasive speech on the matter.... Brianna
I agree. With what little knowledge I have and being someone who does not have health care I think it should definatly be more easily available to people working jobs that ddont offer such benifits or even the unemployed. Submitted By: Jessica
I agree that people should have healthcare, however, I am not sure I personally would embrace the Affordable Healthcare Act of 2010. It may be a good thing for some people. I look forward to hearing your persuasive speech on this topic.
I agree that healthcare should be provided to everyone living in the U.S. I'd like to hear more about what makes the Affordable Healthcare Act of 2010 the right choice to embrace.
I dont think health care is a right first of all. You have the right to work and gain isurance through your employer. I also dont think that the 2010 act is the best solution to this problem. I think the problem lies with the ridiculous amounts of money the insurance company charge. The pharmaceutical companies also need more reguation, they sell drugs and medical devices to hospitals at extremely inflated prices. For example; why does a company sell a pacemaker for thousands of dollars to the hospital when it only cost them a fraction of that cost to produce it? This health issue has so many aspects.-Jennifer
I agree. Everybody should have healthcare. As for some middle class, who doesn't have healthcare or is being cut off due to the economic condition, has no money to pay for healthcare. I think Government should spend more money on healthcare.
I agree. Affordable healthcare should be available to people who are working, to senior citizens, to students and to children. I am not sure what possible solutions are, and therefore I look forward to your speech.
I agree with your statement. Health care is very important for everyone to have, even those with financial problems. In my opinion the most important way to use money is to benefit people health wise. What else matters if one is unable to be healthy? However I do look forward to learning more about the Affordable Health Act of 2010 because I do not have much knowledge on it.
I don't think you will find much opposition to this in our classroom of students. Make sure to focus on solid facts to provide reasoning as to why this is important. Also it would be nice to hear why this approach is being shot down, but that might get to much into politics. Keep up the good work Allan!
I can't say I agree or not because I am not of an age where I can actually worry about things like that and I don't have a good idea about what it is all about sadly. I am looking forward to you next speech to learn more Monika
I am undecided. I think that everyone deserves some sort of healthcare but I also think that you should have to work for it and receive health benefits from your employer. I think there are situations where healthcare can be very beneficial for people as well. Like I said Im undecided AH
I think i part way agree with you. I do think that everyone should be able to get health care and that some kind of act/reform needs to happen. However im not sure given this finical stability of the nation that this is an affordable health care act. I think to persuade me further in your speech you should talk about the things that government needs to cut spending on to be able to afford this plan.-Anna
Let me just say that I hate with a burning all things insurance. The insurance companies are out of control with lobbying. I am very hesitant to support anything that has to do with insurance companies. I believe it is on each person to eat helathy, take care of themselves, and work hard for what they don't have. The less government involvement with the citizens, the happier the world is.
