I agree that drug cartels must be weakened for this to be successful, but at the same time these people do not live within the US borders so we as a country and government need to support the Mexican community to be successful with their efforts to do this. I strongly agree that US and Mexico should be weaken in order to control the drug trafficking. I have been watched the news recently, and I know that Mexico drug gangs have become a top threat to the US, and the large amount of illegal drugs are smuggled from Mexico. I think US and Mexico should make the law and also impose penalties for both smugglers and users. I also think that US and Mexico should support each other to control the drug trafficking.
I agree. If drug cartels are not weakened crime will continue to increase. Drug trafficking is a serious crime and threat. Stricter laws should be enforced for the individuals who are a part of these organizations.

I am unsure. I think if we try to weaken drug cartels, more violent groups will try to deliver drugs to the U.S. I think we need to figure out why the U.S. is such a target for drug trafficking and why there seems to be a huge demand here.
I think the only way to curb the Mexican cartel is to start by leaglizing marijuana. If it's leagal and people are allowed to grow their own this will dramatically cut into the pocket books of this drug trafficers. Drugs have been one our naitons biggest problems and they continue to be. -Jennifer

I do agree, but how are we going to go about this? Didn't you mention in your informative speech that the war on drugs is a failing matter? How are you going to present this as something that needs support? Interested for sure.
I agree and I know this is a huge problem but what can be done to fix it? There seems to be a lot of problems that correlate with this and I am looking forward to seeing how you address this problem in your next speech! Monika
I agree that weakening drug cartel will be a very effective way to curb drug trafficking. That being said, I don't think the association of the manufacturers is the only contribution to the constant high prices. Things like the high risk drug traffickers bear are also factors that contribute to the high prices. I will need to be persuaded on that part but overall, I agree with your thesis statement. - Noreen
Interesting. It will be cool to here other possible solutions like perhaps legalizing drus? marijuana? But also include dangerous of drugs and beyond health issues since that is a given to most people -naomi
