I agree, our society doesn't promote wellmess like it should. I agree with eryone else when I say "how specifically." This topic seems to general for me. I like it, I hope you can narrown in on one aspect for your speech. -Jennifer
I agree. I like your first speech because it reminds me how fast I live, work, and forget to enjoy each moment in my life. I like the way you shape people's thoughts. However, there are many different way to enjoy life, and I think your topic is too broad, and you should focus on one thing, it will be easier for you in the next speech.
I agree with your statement and am aware that it is supposed to be a concise and short statement thesis but I think you could make it more specific while still keeping it concise. What is promoting wellness?
I am very fond of this topic TJ. I strongly agree with you on this issue. I think the challenge for you will be to present the topic in a manner that isn't to broad. There are several key issues you can touch on, and I will discuss these with you in class soon.
I agree with the thesis that we should promote wellness in order to improve our quality of life. Yet like some of the others who have commented on the statement, I cannot tell exactly what you are getting at. In general though, I agree with it because people seem to pay no attention to the important role that wellness plays in our lives. - Noreen
I totally agree that we should promote wellness. Research shows us that people who eat nutritionally and exercise often feel better about themselves, perform better in their jobs, and have an overall positive outlook on life. Submitted by Allan.
I think this is a very interesting topic. I would narrow it down though so it is not so broad. I look forward to see what you do with your next speech.
I agree that wellness in this society is a necessity because, historically, this society is known for a society of mass consumption. Here we mass produced technologies such as the washing machine, dish washers, computers, and other electronics and as well as foods. This mass consumption society transformed ordinary American into unhealthy and sometimes obese American. So health has became a major issue and therefore wellness need to be promoted. Duc Pham
I agree, however there are multipul ways in which society is trying to persuade this argument of wellness, I think that is where the real controversy comes in and im not sure what you intend on planning to do to solve this problem.- Anna
I agree that this is true, I just think this statement is a little to broad. Your first speech was great, just try to narrow it down a bit. VM.
ReplyDeleteI agree that as a society we should promote wellness. However, how specifically should we promote wellness and quality of life?

I agree. I think it's okay to indulge in a few things that may be bad for our health as long as we don't over do it repeatedly every single day.

I agree, but what is wellness specifically? For example I agree with promoting eating healthy, exercising and safety....submited by Arshin

Make sure to define what you think "wellness" means because it could mean something else to everyone

I agree but you should still specify the terms of your use of "wellness"

I like this thesis and agree with it, however I think wellness needs to be further defined. - Jamie
ReplyDeleteI agree with this, however, I don't know what you mean by "wellness".
ReplyDeleteI think you can be more specific-Shuntaro
ReplyDeleteHow do you specifically propose to do that? Subsidize fresh fruits and vegetables? Ban food that's not good for people?

ReplyDeleteI agree but I don't want the government trying to get their hands in it and dictating to us how we carry ourselves.
